March 2018 Algorithm Update
There are still no major details about last week's update, but it is closely related to the March update. This one happened on March 7 and was confirmed by Google's John Muller in a Google Webmaster Hangout.

In this post, Mueller said that most algorithm updates focus on relevance. So, if your site was affected by the March changes, it doesn't mean that you have poor quality.

He said that many sites lose relevance over time, regardless of whether the content is quality. He recommends that if you want to know how to be more relevant, you should look for user feedback, so you will know what you could change.

“It doesn’t mean your site is a bad site, it just means it’s not relevant to those specific searches. (…) They may have great content, but over time, they become seen as relevant in the overall picture of the web.”
