Before we begin, you need to know the class that controls how the author name is displayed in your WordPress theme. To get this information, open any page or post that contains the author name.

Then right-click or Ctrl-click on the screen and select “Inspect”.

You can now hover your mouse over the author's name.

This will highlight a section of code in the right hand bar where you need to look for the author code. This may vary depending on your WordPress theme , but look for one div-or li-Klassethat contains the word “author”.

Once you have found the correct class, write it down in a safe place as you will need it in the next step.

Now you can hide the author name using custom CSS . To do this, go to “Code Snippets” + Add New .
