41% OF CONSUMERS TRUST ONLINE ADVERTISING

Online advertising is trusted by 41% of consumers worldwide, according to a report by the consulting firm Nielsen , which showed that the area where Internet users are most inclined to this form of commercial communication is Latin America.

Europe, on the other hand, proved to be the band data region where consumers are most skeptical, with only 36% giving their vote of confidence to online ads, while in North America the figure was above average with 42 points.

However, the survey revealed that 70% of respondents think that brand portals and consumer opinions on forums are a reliable source, a figure that exceeds the credibility of printed content.

In this sense, personal recommendations prevailed as the most reliable, while mobile marketing channels still have to work to gain the credibility of consumers.
