Google CEO Erich Schmidt said his company needs to learn from Twitter and could work with the microblogging platform in the future, without actually buying it. Schmidt used the annual Google Zeitgeist conference to quell rumors about a possible Twitter buyout, saying it is not necessary to acquire a company to work together.
