To conduct the study, analysts surveyed 500 respondents - individuals, as well as more than 2.1 thousand companies, of which 30.8% use telephone calls as their main sales channel.
Due to the increased number of spam calls from unknown numbers and calls from scammers, Russians have begun to either ignore unmarked calls altogether or spend time checking and blocking them.
According to the study, users egypt whatsapp resourceare more likely to answer phone calls when calls are marked, especially from numbers of companies they already know (40.7%); a quarter of respondents (26.9%) are willing to answer all calls.
"In the forecast period up to 2030, the factors of growth in demand for the call labeling service will be the overall growth of the subscriber base of service providers in both the B2B and B2C segments, the growth of household incomes, the introduction of fraud monitoring technologies, the improvement of the regulatory environment in the field of anti-fraud and the development of cyber fraud methods. Considering the acute shortage of B2B call labeling services in Russia, the market for mobile communication companies has the potential for growth, since more than a third of companies engaged in telemarketing have not yet been covered," analysts at the Stolypin Institute believe.

Due to the increase in spam calls from fraudsters, Russians have begun to ignore calls from unknown numbers more often. As a result, businesses that communicate with clients by phone spend up to 30% of their working day on unsuccessful calls. The losses of the Russian economy due to distraction by spam calls by Russians in the workplace amount to an average of 236.2 billion rubles per year.
The research data shows that with the total number of legal entities in Russia as of January 1, 2024, being more than 2.6 million units, and given that about 30% of companies use the promotion or sale of goods and services through telemarketing, among the companies not covered, the number of potential clients of mobile operators could reach 250 thousand legal entities.
According to the survey results, 55% of companies are ready to spend from 10 kopecks to 50 kopecks per call when using the labeling service, and 16.6% - from 50 kopecks and more.
"We can calculate the approximate market capacity in the B2B interaction segment for 20, 50 and 70 kopecks per call, with an average sales manager rate of 50 calls per day. Uncovered companies (250 thousand legal entities), in which at least one employee makes calls, can provide the telecom operator with from 0.6 billion to 2.1 billion rubles in revenue per year," the authors of the study calculated.
According to HeadHunter, the number of vacancies for "sales manager, customer service manager" in Russia as of September 2024 exceeded 71 thousand. "If at least every fourth of the offered vacancies includes such job responsibilities in one way or another, then the potential capacity of the call marking service market is 5.1-35.7 trillion rubles per year (depending on the cost per call)," analysts at the Stolypin Institute believe.
