In particular, the SEZ was interested in clustering functions, "hot" migration of virtual machines, the ability to operate the hypervisor both on the host and under the Engine, and support for data storage systems.
After testing several solutions, including those based on KVM and freely distributed software, "Alabuga" chose the zVirt server virtualization system from Orion soft for implementation. Today, 16 infrastructure loaded hosts operate under its management in the SEZ. All applications of basic IT services, from "1C" to resource-intensive applications for 3D design, are deployed in zVirt virtual machines.
