Use bot filtering features

The easiest way is to use the "Bot Filtering" feature of Google Analytics.
It allows you to exclude hits from bots and spiders that are registered as bots in Google.

STEP 1 Open "Management > View Settings"
Open the administration screen from the left menu and select "View Settings."

STEP 2 Check the "Bot filtering" checkbox
Check the "Bot filtering" checkbox

Scroll down the screen to find a section called "Bot filtering." Check it and click "Done" at th e coo email list bottom of the screen.

This completes the setup. It's a simple setup that can be done in 1 minute , so if you haven't done it yet, you should do it first.
