How to check if the Opt-out Add-on was successfully set up

Because the setup is so easy, some people may be worried about whether they have set it up correctly. Here are two ways to check if the opt-out add-on is working properly.
Check if the add-on is enabled
To check if the add-on is working:
1. Click on … (Google Chrome Settings) > Settings in the top right of Chrome
2. Click on Extensions in the left menu
3. Make sure the opt-out add-on button is active
If it is active, it means the setup was successful.
Check whether the exclusion was successful using real-time vp security email lists measurement
Access the website from a browser with the opt-out add-on installed, and check if it is reflected in real time in Google Analytics. To check, go to the "Real Time" section of Google Analytics. If there are currently 0 visitors, then the opt-out was a success.
