In 2021, I learned that it is possible to reach the top positions on Google with relatively little effort, but a lot of technique. That it is possible to surpass the industry leaders, but you have to be patient and not attack all fronts. Step by step, learn a little thing well, lay the foundations and keep building. But let's get to the report. Just like November, December 2021 was also quite busy. I thought I would be able to dedicate it completely to my blog and I was only able to do so since December 21st. Add to that the fact that I took the last week of the year to rest, so I actually worked on the blog for a week, which in reality was like two days because the rest were administrative and boring things that are never lacking.
The numbers went down a bit.
During those days of really working on the blog, I published the November report and the end of “Andrés no me des besos” in Le pasó a un amigo. In other words, no SEO-focused content.
The numbers didn't go up, as I expected, but they didn't go down much either. In December there were a total of 24,142 visits (22,164 sessions). This represents a decrease of 8.6% , which isn't bad, considering I didn't publish anything, at least not posts focused on traffic.
The numbers continued to hold up despite not working very hard. That's good.

The graph above is from Google's Universal Analytics (UA), which I like better than the one provided by Google Analytics 4 (GA4). There are things in this "new" version that I still can't get used to.
