Use third-party playlist services
Did you know that there are services specifically created to help you find playlist creators? Platforms like Groover and SubmitHub can get your music in front of the right people, but they also help you get feedback and communicate with new contacts. We've published an article here about many other options, but here are a few of my favorites that you can check out right now.

Soave Records : If your sound is more in the tropical house, chill electronica, or relaxed party vibes department, look no further. Soave is dedicated to bringing the best new electronic music to the masses. With playlists like Feel Good Friday, Sunny Chills, and Tropical House Remix, you're sure to find something you like.

Klangspot: This Spotify playlist curated by Klangspot is updated every Friday and gives you the chance to have your songs heard by 47,000 fans through over 30 playlist placement opportunities. They are japan email list passionate about supporting independent and self-created artists and aim to give them the same opportunities as the “big guys.”

IndieMono: These guys are another one of the largest independent playlist communities out there. The great thing about this service is that they love to promote new artists, especially if you have less than 1,000 streams. A service like this is great for those who are just getting their music out there and need a boost.

Only submit songs to playlists that fit your music
If you're targeting third-party playlists, your best bet is to listen to the playlist first and only submit the songs (if any) that really fit the vibe. Too often, artists submit a link to their Spotify profile in the hopes that the curator will sit there and go through all their songs to find something to include. With hundreds, sometimes thousands, of submissions a day, they don't have time for that. It's up to you to deliver something worthwhile. After all, they're doing you a favor.
