Step-by-Step Guide: How to Create a Kahoot

Step 1: Go to the OnlineExamMaker dashboard

In this step, go to the left side of the dashboard and click on “Exams”. After that, click on ‘Rewards Test’ and click on ‘+ New Rewards Test’ to get started.

Step 2: Complete the questionnaire information

The next step is to fill out the basic information for your quiz. Choose a fun title! After that, you can choose the mode of advancement. Now click on 'Advanced Settings' to open more options.

You can select a cover template or upload your custom header! Once you’ve done that, type in your quiz keywords. You can even add a short description or an encouraging message! Click “Save & Next” to continue.

Step 3: Add questions with the Question Bank

After that, it’s time to add your questions! Go to the taiwan number left side of your dashboard and click on “Question Bank.” After that, click on “Question List.” Click on ‘+ Add Questions’ to start creating your query. Now type in your desired question in the question stem. You can also add images or video files! Click on ‘Add Audio or Video File’ and choose the image you want to use. And once you’ve done that, type in the possible options.

Note: You can use pre-made questions with the question bank or add them manually.

Add the possible options or answers for the question. And set the corresponding with points. After that, click on 'Save' to save the question.

Step 4: Set the rewards

The next step is to add up the score for the correct answers. Click on 'Add Reward' and set up the incentives and feedback. Click on 'Save' to mark the number of questions with points. Once you've done that, you can move on to the next step! Click on 'Save and Next' to continue.

Step 5: Adjust the questionnaire settings

In this step, you need to adjust the schedule and rules for your test. You can set your terms and guidelines. And you can modify the number of possible attempts. The exam login options allow for two options: all students can advance or only a select few. You can even customize the quiz with a topic and header! Once you’ve changed the settings to your liking, click “Save” to compose.

Step 6: Publish and share the questionnaire

Next, go to the left side of your dashboard and click on “Exams.” After that, click on ‘Awards Test’ again and search for the test you took. Once you’ve found it, click on “Publish” to publish it.

You can share it with your students using the custom link or QR code. And now you have your very own Kahoot-style quiz!
