Everything for a beautiful home

Post by tasmih1234 »

But it wasn't just everyday goods that experienced a boom in the first wave. We all spent most of our time at home during the first wave of the pandemic. What could be more natural than making ourselves really comfortable at home? After all, no one could tell us when the horror of the first lockdown would be over. Online sales in the decoration, lamps and furniture sectors rose by 13.8% in the second quarter of 2020 compared to the previous year.
Household goods and appliances recorded particularly strong growth of 25.6%
. Anyone who wasn't tired of their curtains and sofa during the first lockdown was given the renovation itch in the second at the latest. But we don't have to visit the hardware stores in our neighboring states like we did in April, we can go to our local ones. Who benefits?

Furniture manufacturers and retailers, especially online or with online offers (such as IKEA with the new Click & Collect offer)
Manufacturer and retailer of lamps and decoration
hardware stores and specialty stores
But be careful : While business with swimming pools for the home namibia mobile numbers list garden, flowers and patio furniture boomed in spring, this is obviously no longer to be expected in November.
Lots of free time leads to new hobbies
Short-time work, daycare centers closed, no club sports and no group activities outside of our own household. Many of us have become creative, learned a new language, discovered mountain biking or sewn masks. The result: Sales in the hobby and leisure goods sector saw an enormous increase of 20.9%.
However, some people also spent their newly gained free time watching Netflix, reading a good book or playing computer games. The entertainment sector recorded growth of 15.5% to 1,526 million euros in the second quarter compared to the previous year.
The winners have been decided:

Leisure goods manufacturers and retailers with goods that can be used at home, independently of groups
fitness equipment
streaming services
(online) bookstore
electronics and entertainment markets (software, computer games, electronic goods)
Language learning apps, online courses and other offers in the (further) education segment
Products and service providers from the areas of art, crafts and DIY
Here, too, caution is advised: the season for the new e-bike is likely to be coming to an end now, and all other leisure activities that can also be carried out indoors, as well as the entertainment segment, will probably continue to benefit from the second lockdown.
