To score, we will use a ten-point scale and score each tool against the highest scoring competitor. For example, if the second highest score is 98% of the highest score, the tool will receive a 9.8. As a reminder, here are the PCC test results:





Moz takes the top spot for the first test, followed by SpyFu (with the 80% match rate caveat).

Test 2: Pearson correlation coefficient adjusted.
Let’s call this the “Milligan Round.” In this round, turkey number data that sometimes things go wrong and one tool gets it right, we will remove the three most dangerous outliers of each tool’s score.

The adjusted results for the handicap round are:

As noted in the original PCC test, some of these tools really had a big hit with large outliers. In particular, Ahrefs and SEMrush benefited the most from their outlier removal, with their scores benefiting by .162 and .150, respectively, while Moz benefited the least from the adjustment.
