Maturity of technical SEO capabilities

We measure an organization on several key criteria that contribute to SEO success:

New Technology - Desire and adoption of new technology that impacts search, such as voice search, AMP, even structured data.
Analytics - How data-centric the organization is, with no management or measurement of any kind, from mirror performance reporting to rearview, to search decision-making that is entirely data-driven.

Stages of SEO skills maturation
We assign each of the above criteria to one of these stages:

Stage 0 (Adverse) – The client is engaging in harmful or damaging SEO practices.
Stage 1 (Non-existent) – There is no discernible SEO strategy or implementation of the strategy, and search is a completely new program for the client.
