When you change WordPress themes, your existing images may not be the correct size.
The solution for WordPress? Regenerate the thumbnails. This means readjusting the image dimensions in the basic WordPress settings. It can also be done quickly using a plugin.

WordPress has settings to automatically crop images you upload. The settings are located in the admin panel under Settings > Media.
