Nobody (Recommended for privacy): If you choose this, no one, not even your contacts, will be able to find your Telegram profile by searching for your phone number. This significantly limits discoverability via your number.
How to Set:

Tap on "Who can find me by my number?"
Select your preferred option.
4. Adding Exceptions (Always Allow / Never Allow)
For both "Who can see my phone number?" and "Who can find me by my number?", Telegram allows you to set exceptions:

"Always Allow": Users added to this list will always be able to see/find your number, even if your general setting is "Nobody."
"Never Allow": Users added to this list will never be able to see/find your number, even if your general setting is "Everybody" or "My Contacts."
How to Use:

After selecting your general setting (e.g., "Nobody"), look for the "Add Users" option under "Always Allow" or "Never Allow."
Tap it and select contacts from your list.
Quick Tips for Maximum Phone Number Privacy:
Set "Who can see my phone number?" to Nobody.

Always set a username (@YourUsername) and telegram number database share that instead of your phone number for public interactions or when connecting with new people.
Consider disabling "Sync Contacts" (Settings > Privacy and Security > Contacts) and then tapping "Delete Synced Contacts" to remove any contact information previously uploaded from your device's address book. This severs links to your real-world contacts.
Enable Two-Step Verification (2FA) for strong account security, as it adds a password layer even if your number is compromised. Telegram offers robust privacy settings to control who can see your phone number and how easily your account can be found. This guide will walk you through these crucial settings.
