From a Group Chat or Channel

Add to Contacts (Optional):
Once in the chat, tap their name/username at the very top of the chat screen to open their profile.
You should see an option like "Add to Contacts". Tap this.
You can then enter or edit their first and last names for your contact list.
There's often an option to "Share My Phone Number" – you can toggle this OFF for privacy if you don't want them to see your number.
Tap "Done" or "Save".
If you're in a group or channel with someone telegram number database you want to add:
Open the Group/Channel.
Tap on their profile picture or name within a message they sent.
This will open their profile. You can then tap "Add to Contacts" from their profile, similar to Method 3.
Method 5: Using "Find People Nearby"
This feature lets you discover other Telegram users in your immediate vicinity.
Open Telegram.
Go to the Contacts tab (or the main menu on Android).
Select "Find People Nearby".
You and the other person need to have this screen open simultaneously.
Telegram will show a list of nearby users. You can then tap on their profile to start a chat or add them to your contacts.
Privacy Note: Be aware that using this feature temporarily reveals your approximate location and makes you discoverable to strangers nearby. You can choose to "Stop showing me" to hide your profile after use.
