Telemedicine services provider Doctis is entering the Saudi Arabian market, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF), which is a co-investor in the company, reported.

As part of the annual Arab Health 2024 exhibition, held from January 29 to February 1 in the United Arab Emirates, Doctis signed a partnership agreement with Rowad Medical Services, which offers various intelligent solutions in the field of medicine. The parties registered the international company DoctisME in Saudi Arabia, RDIF reported.

Rowad Medical Services will support the promotion of products and services and the organization of interaction with customers as part of the agreement.

The Saudi Arabian telemedicine market is projected to be worth $1 billion by 2030, with Doctis planning to reach 50% of the country's population as users of its services, the report notes. The company's further international development strategy includes entering the markets of other Middle Eastern countries, as well as Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America, with a total estimated number of service consumers exceeding 1 billion people.

The telemedicine service "Doctis" is a project of Mark Kurtser, the founder of the network of clinics "Mother and Child", it was launched in 2016, in 2018 the projectRDIF enteredand its foreign partners.
