Regional standard for the development of creative industries

According to him, the standard will help regional authorities build work with entrepreneurs and support industry clusters, and create comprehensive regional systems for the development of a creative economy.

Yakutia was a pioneer in this direction: in 2019, it adopted the first regional concept for the development of creative industries. According to the Center for Creative Economy, similar systems also exist in the Kaliningrad and Sverdlovsk regions, Stavropol Krai, and the Far East.

"The main function of the regional standard is to unite all stakeholders, involve governors in the creative agenda, and then form a unified vision of the development of the creative economy in the regions and see the demand of the industries themselves. According to ASI, at least 30 regions of Russia will be able to implement the developed standard in 2024.
