Government and business spending on implementing solutions based on Internet of Things and machine-to-machine interaction (M2M and IoT) technologies increased by 6% and reached almost 114 billion rubles.
This is stated in a study by the analytical agency Oneside, which is available to TASS.
"In 2022, the total colombia mobile number database costs of the state and business on the implementation of solutions based on Internet of Things and machine-to-machine interaction technologies increased by 6% compared to 2021 and amounted to 113.9 billion rubles," the study says.
Analysts note that by the end of 2022, the total number of connected IoT devices in Russia reached 70.1 million units, excluding wearable devices such as smart watches and fitness trackers. Thus, among the most common scenarios for the use of M2M and IoT technologies in 2022 were security systems, connected video surveillance cameras, intelligent systems for transport and smart metering systems (smart metering systems for water and energy consumption). "By the beginning of 2023, the total number of connected IoT devices in Russia in the B2B/B2G segments grew to 55.8 million units, of which 34.2 million operated in the networks of telecom operators," the authors of the study note.
The volume of connections to M2M platforms (a hardware and software complex that allows mobile subscribers to access SIM card diagnostic tools - TASS note) of mobile operators increased from 11.1 to 14.3 million connections over the year. According to the authors of the study, at the end of 2022, MTS provided 47% of the total volume of connections, the subscriber base growth over the year amounted to 23%, and Megafon provided 30% of the total number of M2M connections.
In turn, the Private LTE market (a dedicated wireless LTE network of an enterprise created within a single organization and isolated from public networks) grew by 20% in 2022 - from 1.2 to 1.5 billion rubles. Among the publicly announced projects, MTS launched the largest number of dedicated commercial LTE networks - 12 networks, which is 37% of all projects on the market, and MegaFon implemented 21% of the total number of announced projects. "Among the industries in which Private LTE networks were deployed, 30% of the projects were in the mining industry, 18% - in transport, 15% - in petrochemicals, 9% each in the context of all projects are oil and gas and coal mining, 6% each - energy, mechanical engineering and energy," the study concludes.

The costs of the state and business in the Russian Federation for the implementation of M2M and IoT amounted to almost 1
