TechWeek: Challenges and Innovation in Latin America

Tomas Montes and I were going to order things to prepare tomorrow's event at SquadS Ventures. And we decided to do a couple of quick interviews. This time, we talked about the challenges of Innovation Tech Week . As I hope you know (haha), it is the first time in Argentina that a Tech Week is organized , and even though we have some experience having participated in some elsewhere, it is always a challenge to organize events. But we are very happy to be able to carry it out, and even more so in our beloved Argentina.

Organizing a technology event of this magnitude is no easy feat. It requires meticulous planning, coordination, and above all, a passion for technology and innovation. Here are some of the most important challenges we faced when organizing Innovation Tech Week :

These are just some of the aspects we had to consider to make Innovation Tech Week a success. Below, I explain each of these points in more detail.

Coordination of multiple simultaneous events
One of the biggest challenges was coordinating over 50 events in a single week. venezuela telephone number data From talks and workshops to hackathons and live demos, each event required its own set of resources and planning. The key here was constant and effective communication between all organizers and participants.

To accomplish this, we used project management tools like Trello and Slack, which allowed us to stay on top of all tasks and responsibilities. Additionally, we held daily standups to make sure everyone was on the same page and could resolve any issues that arose.

Coordination also involved making sure there was no overlap between major events, which could have affected attendance and the impact of each. It was hard work, but it was worth it when you saw how many people participated and enjoyed the week.
