What do I do with my social media on vacation? This is a question that many companies ask themselves and has an easy answer:
Whatever you want, but keep in mind that your potential customers will have the most time to see them…
Starting from this basis, in which many companies “abandon” the social networks of their businesses or companies, we can “turn the tables” and take advantage of this time to have more presence, to stand out from those companies that (apparently) have forgotten about their public.
How do we do it or what should we do? I'll tell you...
1-. Check out the “newspaper archives”
They have been providing very useful content on their business blogs for 365 days… The holidays are perfect times to use this content and bring it back “out to the field” . In addition, they can use introductions like:
During the month that they intend to be “out of the game” , they can turn to a professional Community Manager who will plan a decent publication calendar, and thus, ensure that italy telegram data their brand remains in the spotlight during the days of “beach, mountains, mojito or barbecue” .
Who knows! Maybe they'll like it and end up hiring a professional for the rest of the year...
3-. Check the publication schedule
If you are not convinced by the above formula, you can always make technology work for you. It is not something that I personally like very much, but it is preferable to post some publications, even if it is automatically, than to leave social networks without any activity.
There are free tools like HootSuite that will allow you to manage your Facebook and Twitter accounts, for example, in a quick and easy way.
4-. Set aside time to “check out” their social networks
I am one of those people who say that “there is time for everything” . You can try to set aside a few minutes a day to review your networks. 30 minutes in the morning and 30 in the evening; 20 minutes every afternoon; obviously it will depend on the volume of interaction in your networks, but as I always say, “for everyone or for no one” , that is, if you see that in the set time you are unable to answer all the requests or comments, leave it for when you have time. It looks very bad to answer 2 people out of 10…
5-. Separate forest branches…
We spend our lives (including the one writing this) tweeting, posting, publishing on Instagram… telling what we eat, where we go and/or are, who we are with… Let the battery on your mobile last more than a day, let your family and friends discover that there is someone behind a phone, try to enjoy the sport you never have time to practice, the concert you always see on YouTube, the sound of the sea or the mountains but in strict live, without sharing.
