Chemical resistance
While PC plastic has good resistance to dilute acids and hot database alcohol, it has average resistance to alkalis and grease. However, it has poor resistance to concentrated acids, halogens and aromatic hydrocarbons, hence the need to carefully consider the chemical environment in its applications.
Physical property Details
Density The density is 1200 kg/m3, which contributes to its strength and lightness.
Limiting oxygen index Has a limiting oxygen index which indicates its flammability characteristics.
UV blocking Provides protection against UV rays, improving outdoor durability.
