Mark Zuckerberg has not abandoned the idea that his users do not have to leave their social networks to make transactions , and in a new attempt he will try to integrate QR payment and payment by link into Facebook.

With QR payments and link payments, Facebook hopes to make it easier for its users to send or collect money from each other, a feature that many companies have recently opted for to keep contactless payments easy and secure.

QR payment is coming to Facebook Pay… for now in the testing phase in the United States
This way, users will be able to scan a QR code with their finland business email database mobile phone camera, specify the amount to send and make the payment to send. On the other hand, with payments by link the user will be redirected to a secure page where the transfer can be completed. As you can see in the image, the link can be personalized, under the format m.me/pay/username. For now, both QR payment and link payments are in the testing phase and only in the US.

This is not the first time that Facebook has opted to include this type of technology, as QR codes were added to WhatsApp last year as a way to boost sales through WhatsApp Business. However, it will be the first time that Facebook Pay has added QR code payments, a way to boost person-to-person payments that can be used not only on its main social network, but also on Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp itself, in countries where Facebook Pay is already active.
