The BrasilAgro Institute has been accepted into the United Nations (UN) Global Compact, an initiative that brings together companies committed to promoting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The social arm of BrasilAgro, a food, fiber, and bioenergy producer, the institute was shop founded in 2020 with the goal of creating and managing projects that positively impact the lives of people in the communities where it operates.

"Joining the UN Global Compact represents a step forward for the BrasilAgro Institute, which, through the goals established by the SDGs, can produce more effective social indicators, in addition to reinforcing its commitment to socio-educational promotion," explains Ana Paula Zerbinati, director of the BrasilAgro Institute and head of Investor Relations for the company.

The projects developed by , with the creation of apiaries and organization of small producers to sell organic products, the cultivation of vegetables and medicinal plants in agroecological gardens, and the subsidy of an agricultural technician to guide cashew cultivation, in partnership with "Amigos do Bem".
