Come home for Christmas is not only the slogan of “El Almendro” , it is also the opportunity that I will have tomorrow, even if it is “in spring” . The Faculty of Communication and Documentation , that magical place where I studied my university courses (a “few” years ago), organizes together with the Vice-Rectorate for Students and Employability of the University of Granada , the Professional Orientation and Employability Days for graduates in Documentation .
Through a talk-colloquium, moderated by Consuelo Martín , I will have the pleasure of sharing a table with Pablo Lara , a colleague from old "battles" at the faculty and who is currently Professor-Coordinator of the Information and Knowledge Management Area at the UOC (Universitat Oberta de
Catalunya) . Pablo has coordinated several projects for the Administration on Information Systems in Archives and specialized Libraries. In addition, he has also developed Electronic italy telegram mobile phone number list Resource Management Projects for private institutions. He works on a daily basis on web visibility and content management projects under e-commerce models.
The sessions aim to provide a practical approach that complements the theoretical content that students have during their years of study. To demonstrate with real examples that Communication and Documentation studies have different and diverse professional opportunities to choose from.
It will be a real pleasure to share this talk-colloquium with the students of the University of Granada, to see Mr. Pablo Lara Navarra again and, of course, to let my imagination fly back to the last century through the walls of the faculty.
I would like to thank Mercedes de la Moneda for her invitation. In addition to being an excellent teacher, she has always been involved in making our course better known abroad, and in ensuring that students do quality internships in companies and institutions.
