Words with expressive power automatically evoke an association of images. Readers thus form an image of what you write. Expressive power is not synonymous with muscular language. Shouting loudly is counterproductive. The right words add colour and nuance to your text. Avoid jargon, clichés (can be repeated, time heals all wounds), container concepts (customization, quality) and choose words whose meaning is locked in the word itself. So passion instead of passion. Better inventive than creative. And original as an alternative to authentic.
