Post by Abdur14 »

These are the most common extensions and use three or more letters. These include the traditional extensions .com, .org, .net and .info and new extensions such as .blog, .site or .online, to name a few.

They are similar to the previous ones but their use is restricted . For example: .biz (for businesses), .name (for individuals) or .pro (for accredited professionals).

Country code (ccTLD)
They use two alphabetical characters associated with a croatia business email database country or territory indicated in the ISO 3166 standard. For example: .es (Spain) , .us (USA), .cn (China), .de (Germany), .uk (United Kingdom) or .br (Brazil).

Sponsored (sTLD)
They are managed by public and private organizations that establish their own requirements for registration. Some examples are .gov, .edu and .mil , reserved for the government, educational institutions and the U.S. military.

Infrastructure (ARPA)
It includes only the .arpa domain extension , which was the first TLD introduced in 1985 to relay the ARPANET to the Domain Name System (DNS).
