Sitronics Group has created and implemented solutions for managing passenger flow and automatic information for regular electric vessel routes on the Moscow River.
Innovative electric vessels transport passengers on two routes: "Kyiv" - "Heart of the Capital" and "ZIL - Pechatniki". Sitronics Group not only completed the project for the development and production of electric vessels, but also provided the route with modern IT systems and equipment for passenger flow management and automatic information.
berths and vessels was necessary to netherlands whatsapp number database control the excess number of passengers and automate the processes of passenger transportation by river transport.
The system allows to avoid exceeding the number of passengers on board ships, passing through the turnstile and paying for travel before the ship docks. Electric ships of regular routes can accommodate up to 50 passengers, and berths - from 40 to 80 people depending on the diameter. The system takes into account how many people have entered the ship, as well as the berth to wait for the arrival of transport. All facilities are equipped with automated passenger counting sensors with people recognition. If the number of passengers approaches the maximum, the entrance turnstiles to the berth and the ship are blocked. If someone leaves, access is opened again until it is full or until the ship captain gives the command to complete boarding.
Each vessel is also equipped with a specially developed system with an interface for the captain, in which he selects the berth and indicates the start of disembarking and boarding passengers. The complex system works in such a way that until the moment of boarding, the turnstiles remain blocked.
The solution for managing passenger flow accounting is integrated with the systems of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure of the City of Moscow and allows for the online transmission of the necessary information on the number of passengers to the Traffic Management Center and the passenger information system with data on the ship schedule.
"We were faced with the task of developing an automatic system that ensures safety and comfort on berths and ships while maintaining optimal loading. And for the convenience of residents and guests of the capital, we have implemented functionality connected to the Unified Information System for Passengers of Moscow. The information panels display the current schedule, arrival and departure times, and provide content output from the media center," said Nikolay Pozhidaev, President of Sitronics Group.
Passengers can find out the departure time of electric ships and track their movement in the Moscow Transport app. It provides information on the schedule, stops, travel time and possible transfers. The schedule and arrival forecast of electric ships are also taken into account when plotting any routes using the Yandex Maps service.
In total, the contract between the Moscow Government and JSC Vodohod.Passenger Port provides for the construction of 21 vessels and 23 berths. The contract for servicing river transportation in the capital is concluded for a period of 15 years.
