e Ministry of Digital Development will increase the KPI for the implementation of Russian operating systems and other system-wide software: in 2023, the share of its use should be 54%, and not 23%, as previously planned. Some market players consider the figure to be overstated

In 2022, the level of implementation of Russian general system and application software reached 50%. This follows from the draft updated "road map" for the development of "New general system and application software", which the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media developed in mid-October albania whatsapp resource (RBK has a copy, its authenticity was confirmed by a representative of the ministry). General system software includes operating systems and other programs for solving general problems; application software includes text and graphic editors, browsers, media players and other software for solving specific user problems. In the currently valid "road map" (approved in December 2022), the share of implementation of Russian products in these segments based on the results of last year was estimated at 15%.

The project also updated the target indicators for 2023 - the share should be 54% instead of 23% in the previous version, for 2024 - 58% instead of 33%, for 2025 - 63% instead of 48%. For 2030, the level of implementation remained the same - 71%.

and suggestions on the draft updated “map” by October 27.

The explanatory note to the document states that the values of the indicators and indicators have been adjusted due to clarification of the calculation sources and actual values for 2022. As a representative of the Ministry of Digital Development explained to RBC, the document was adjusted based on information about the implementation of domestic software in the country, and not only in government agencies and state-owned companies, but also in other organizations.

Last summer, the government ordered the creation of several competence and development centers, including a center for general system and application software, as well as several dozen industrial competence centers. All of these centers should develop software to replace the products of those foreign developers who left the market after the start of the special military operation. The centers unite market players, allow them to share expertise, and in some cases, receive funding for development. The "road maps" for each center are an active work plan.
