What are Instagram Stories?

These are vertical posts that are separate from regular posts and have a viewing period of 24 hours.

How to post a story

To post a story, you can start taking (selecting) an image or video by clicking the plus icon in the top right corner of the timeline or the camera icon above it.

You can also import photos and videos that have already been taken with another photo app.
