Activity with a fixed duration like the figure below:

In (1) and (2) we have two resources assigned but this time with an assignment of 20 hours each. Do you remember the example of moving bricks?

In the case of activities with a fixed duration and resource-based , the more resources we add, the more individual task assignments will decrease ( Franco from 40 to 20 hours as well as Giovanni ).

Duration = Work / Assignment Units

Fixed period

Activities are of a fixed duration. This means that we maintain the duration switzerland rcs data of the activity at 5 days.

We can only change one of the two remaining variables jobs e assignment unit .

First case: We change the work for Franco to 32 hours and click OK (we are in mode Not resource-dependent )

Not resource-based
Not resource-based
(1) Assigned to the new 32 hour budget and confirmed with Ok we always have a period of 5 days (fixed period obviously) recalculated according to the equation and the amount of work is reduced from 80 to 72 hours.

Actually the third variable is updated ( Maximum Unit ) but and we expect to see it updated in column (4), but we can see that it remains 100% for both resources.

This is not a project error, as the two resources are always 100% available.

We need to enter the Project Tip field to see if anything has changed.

Punta is a bad translation of the English version of the Peak ( Pico ) project.

Let's see how we can imagine it.
