Why is the new system questionable?

Post by asimd23 »

Feedback discussions take place in private (praise in writing, criticism verbally)

Roger Lötscher, Head of Human Resources Transformation at Postfinance, is of the opinion:
"We want people to expose themselves, to stand up for their opinions, and perhaps to endure resistance - even against hierarchical levels. If you want to get ideas through, you have to expose yourself."

PostFinance emphasizes that the assessment is france rcs data voluntary and not an evaluation tool. However, the pressure on employees to take part is enormous. If someone does not take part, they are said to be unable to cope with digital change.

Anastasia Sapegina, an industrial psychologist at the University of St. Gallen, has been studying the feedback culture in companies for years. She writes:
"This system can cause stress for people who are introverted and who don't like to compete, and it can lead to them not feeling like they are part of the team or part of the organization. Because they get the feeling that their personality doesn't fit in."

If the name of the assessor is made public despite the voluntary nature and promised confidentiality, there is a risk that a particularly high number of favorable points will be given to those employees who are decisive for their personal advancement.
