The knives are sharpened

Post by asimj1 »

The discussion about the new Billag fee is gaining incredible momentum. What began as a mere coercion by the Swiss Trade Association is spreading like wildfire. Associations and parties have jumped on the bandwagon to put themselves in the spotlight.

This is surprising at first glance, because it is actually a fairly simple matter in which the majority of Swiss people would pay less in license fees than before. For private households, the annual pakistan rcs data amount would be reduced from 462 francs to 400 francs - and that would truly be an almost unique event! Most companies would also have to pay less or nothing at all, while large companies in particular would be asked to pay more.

And of course the tiny number of people who have neither a radio nor a television in their home would also be affected. So why, at least according to initial surveys, is the rejection of the new regulation receiving such a large response? In principle, it is not about all of these facts.

No, it is actually a vote on the SRG, its role in the country and its current leadership. And since none of the announced initiatives to abolish or halve the fees have yet received even a hint of response, the right-wing conservatives and the frustrated have now zeroed in on this vote.
