The top five professions and specialties for which vacancies are open include:
IT technicians;
cloud computing;
artificial intelligence/machine learning;
data protection;
data analysis.
At the same time, businesses say that recruiting and retaining talent is a challenge. When asked what the top skills challenges are for the tech sector, 45% of global IT leaders said the speed at which the tech industry is transforming is the most pressing, followed by talent retention (36%) and a shortage of available talent (also 36%).
Almost half of global IT leaders (47%) expressed azerbaijan mobile database in their company’s ability to meet customer demand for green practices. Another 42% said they were confident, but more work needed to be done. According to the Equinix report, half of organizations (51%) use automation tools to manage environmental compliance, 45% join industry associations that promote sustainability projects, and 41% outsource or hire external consultants.
Threats to Business Success and Key Priorities
According to IT leaders, the top threats to business success are cyberattacks (72%), security breaches and data leaks (71%), and a shortage of IT talent (67%).
Finally, the four priority areas they are focusing on are improving cybersecurity, improving customer experience, complying with data protection regulations and securing the future of their business, the study says.
