n the professional world, it's the same thing. I always try to set an intention during the different live sessions that I can have with the members of the Authentic French Academy , for example, the live sessions on Zoom that I go to. Well, there you go, I always have the intention to coach them, to inspire them, to impact them, to explain. So, the intention is not "yeah, I'm going to answer the questions", the intention is "I'm going to coach them, mentor them, inspire them" and I want... In fact, my intention is clearly that at the end of the time spent together, well, they have more energy than when they arrived.
So, that's the first thing to remember from this episode, so, always put intention. That's the first thing. And the second thing I would like to convey as a message or the second message I would like to convey is that we do not lack knowledge. We rarely lack knowledge, we already know a lot, but we don't always apply it. I knew that we had to put intention into it. The proof, I told you, I had prepared in advance, I had made sure to have a certain number of points that I wanted to discuss with him. So, I knew that and I already apply it a lot. But the fact of having heard it, reminding me of it, well that motivates me to do it even more. And besides, it motivates me to talk about it today. If he hadn't said that sentence to me at the beginning of our interview, I probably wouldn't have recorded this episode.
So, you see, in fact, we already know, but we need to be constantly reminded of things. I know what to do to be healthy. There is no need to say it or to reread or study dozens of books in israel whatsapp number data detail. I know that we must sleep well, that we must eat well, that we must move, that we must hydrate well, that we must avoid stress. All of that, I know. And yet, there are a certain number of things that I do not do, and I think I am not the only one. And there are a certain number of books that I reread and say to myself: "Come on, this one will help me be healthy", when I already know what to do to be healthy.
So, quite often, we don't need to know more, we just need to focus and apply . So, that's why I reread books that I've already read, more and more, I reread notes that I've taken and I try to apply. My obsession, now, is to try to apply. We lack more time than knowledge. So, the idea is to simplify, to have simple, clear areas of focus, not to want to do too many things, and to know your priorities. Once you have all that, you can focus on applying the things you already know on a daily basis.
And that was a really nice reminder actually. When Ling-En told me that, I thought, "Well, he's actually telling me something that I know, and the fact that he's telling me that reinforces the application for me."
So those were the two big messages that I wanted to get across today, the two big takeaways from this podcast episode. They were, one, set an intention, make sure you always have an intention; two, simplify and apply what you already know.
