The value of LinkedIn

Identity : The ability to record your professional identity. Using your LinkedIn profile, you can 'connect' with other professionals, you can search for or be found by potential business partners and employers. With the new profile , you can better profile yourself. As soon as the new profile is accessible to (a large number of) Dutch users, an article about it will appear on Frankwatching.
Insights: You can also use LinkedIn to gain insights. Research your conversation partner in preparation for taiwan telegram data an appointment or (competing) companies. But you can also stay up-to-date on (trade) news via LinkedIn through the articles that your connections post on LinkedIn, LinkedIn Today , opinion leaders and the groups.
Everywhere: The starting point is 'hardware agnostic'. You can now use LinkedIn everywhere. Via web, tablet or mobile. Web is still the most used platform, but mobile use has increased considerably in recent times. Last year it was still 10% who consulted LinkedIn via mobile, but this year the use quickly increased to 27%. According to Gamson this is due to the introduction of the successful iPad app.

Ahonen was lyrical about the possibilities of the smartphone in the field of advertising. Especially in combination with Augmented Reality and in-app purchasing . Mike Gamson remained on the sidelines about the possibilities of mobile advertising for LinkedIn. Advertising currently accounts for 25% of the revenue, but there is still no certainty whether, how and in what form LinkedIn wants to offer mobile advertising. It must (again) above all fit in with the 'mobile experience' and be relevant to the users.

Global vs. local
LinkedIn is of course an international network, but a regional version of LinkedIn Today is definitely on the agenda. We can contribute to this to accelerate this process. Make sure to use the InShare button to share (Dutch) content from, for example, Frankwatching via LinkedIn. The more we do this, the faster people will be inclined to offer LinkedIn Today with Dutch content.
