Thematic excursion "Male images at VDNKh"


On February 23, the Main Exhibition of the country will host a thematic walking tour "Male Images at VDNKh", dedicated to Defender of the Fatherland Day. Guests will get acquainted with sculptural masterpieces that reflect male images, see the monument "To the VSKhV Workers Who Died During the War of 1941-1945", learn little-known facts about architects, artists, cosmonauts and other significant figures. Pre-registration is required for the free tour.

Tanks and brass band at the Victory Museum


The Victory Museum has prepared a large program for celebrating Defender of the Fatherland Day. Thus, in front of the hall there will be a game zone of "World of Tanks", where all guests will be able to try their hand at the online game and win prizes. In the photo zone, you can take instant photos with your friends, get a "Tanker Card" as a keepsake, and in the "Field Post" zone, send a themed postcard to your family and friends.

The festive program will open with a concert of the All-Russian Festival-Review of Children's and Youth Brass Bands "Victory Brass Band". In addition to the permanent exhibitions, the museum will open an exhibition as part of the new special project "Legends of Soviet Cinema". It will present posters and posters of Soviet films from the collection of the Russian State Film Fund, the State Central Museum of Cinema and the Soyuzmultfilm Studio. As part of the exhibition, a free screening of one of the films, the posters and posters of which will be included in the exhibition, will be organized in the cinema once a month.

The Victory Museum's "Commanders" Hall will host a concert program called "Callsign - HERO", which will feature works born in the North-Eastern Military District and written by contemporary authors.
