Instagram is discontinuing swipe-up for Stories, here's how to use the link sticker

Instagram removed the swipe-up a while ago. The function that allowed you to add a link to your Story. This function has been replaced by the link sticker. Previously only available for accounts with a blue check mark and 10,000 followers. But now all accounts can use it. Handy!
The disappearance of the swipe-up was not good news for the Instagram accounts that used this function. It was a very handy and user-friendly way to lead followers to your website. For example, we often use this function to refer to an article or one of our training courses.
Swipe-up link becomes a sticker
Fortunately, the option to add a link in a Story isn’t going away completely. Instagram has replaced it with a link sticker . Initially, this link sticker was only available to accounts that already had access to the swipe-up. But now, all Instagram accounts can find the sticker in their library.
This change changes two things. First, a sticker in your Story will of course look different than special lead the swipe-up. If you look at the image below, you can see how the swipe-up currently looks in an Instagram Story. Followers will then see a button at the bottom of the Story with 'Show more' and can follow the link via that route.
