If you follow the above steps when building your own community on your owned channels and then promote it via social media, you are actually moving from a rental home to a home you own. Something that people of my generation are more than happy to do, because a rental home is fine to start with, but in the end you don't want to be stuck forever with a landlord who pushes up the rent every year or doesn't feel like thoroughly tackling that eighties bathroom.
Ultimately, you want to be able to say that you are the proud owner of a home where you can actually build something and where you decide whether you want a hot tub or a rain shower.
