"Since I'm super mean, since I know this hiding place because my mother herself told me about it, and since I have to take some time off 24 hours before the launch of the biggest project in all of history, I came to fight with you!"
Well listen, man: have fun.
Yet another chase begins, during which we note that when the heroes blow up half their lair to slow John down, it doesn't seem to traumatize the tourists who were hanging around to observe the San Francisco Bay. Better yet, when John emerges from the subsequent fire in the form of a monstrous metallic skeleton, people just look at him curiously like " Hey, that's funny, a living killing machine. " And we even have a scene where we hear a biker who doesn't give a damn playing with the engine of his machine right next to it, thus giving John the opportunity to take the vehicle without incident.
So there's a chase between John on a motorcycle and our heroes in a stolen school buy phone number list bus (yes, there were school tours right next to their secret base). The police try to get involved, but at their own risk. After many adventures on the Golden Gate Bridge, John ends up in the water, while the police arrest our heroes and take them in for questioning.
The case isn't particularly fascinating, except for two things: first, because the police bring in the family of young Kyle Reese to see if they recognize this Kyle Reese. And... no. This one looks even bigger and dumber than theirs. Which seems vaguely normal. But above all, Grandpa, who remains silent in front of his interrogators, suddenly stands up, breaking his chains: he has detected an enemy... it's John Connor! Come...
Came…
Come to do what, anyway? No, because obviously, prisoners of the police, our friends weren't moving anymore. So what was the point of bothering them? They couldn't bother Skynet anymore! But as John Connor comes to clear the area, a fight breaks out, Sarah, Kyle and Grandpa can take advantage of it to escape, and reach the roof where two helicopters are waiting. Thanks John Connor! Our heroes heat theirs, then run away from John who tries to chase them.
And, yes, despite being heavily armed, they leave him the second, immaculate helicopter for his use. And better yet, the guy immediately pursues them, starting the aircraft at full power in about 0.7 seconds.
New chase (I can tell you're surprised!), during which despite the exchange of around 12,000 cartridges, the two planes are still flying while smoking a little, which is very impressive, especially when John's plane is hit at one point by Sarah with a sort of rifle grenade designed to blow up walls right in the cockpit.
The robots of the future are common phew
