Facebook typically works best with larger audiences. Often, the advice you'll hear is to aim for audiences of at least 1 million people.

Facebook's final piece of advice is that you need AT LEAST 50 of your chosen conversion events per week. So, for example, if you're optimizing for purchases, you need to achieve 50 purchases in a week for Facebook to optimize your campaigns effectively. This applies if you're optimizing for people who convert to clicks within 7 days. If you're optimizing for clicks within 1 day, things change: you need to achieve 50 conversions within that 1-day period.

This time period is what Facebook calls the "learning period," and chinese overseas america data your campaign won't really find its footing until you're outside of this period. Of course, this requires you to be daring with your campaign and invest some money into it. But, as the saying goes, those who dare, win.

In that case, pay special attention to how many conversions you get per day. If you're optimizing for 7-day clicks, as there are 50 per week, you'll need to get between 7 and 10 conversions per day, but ideally, 20.

Conversely, if you choose to optimize for people who convert within 1 day (1-day clicks), conversions from your ad set that occur outside of this period (e.g., 2 days, 3 days) won't be included in your 50 conversions. Only conversions that occur within that 1-day period will be counted. Of course, you'll still see them attributed to your campaigns, but they won't be used for your optimizations.And as mentioned above, if you're optimizing for 1-day clicks, then your conversion window is now narrower, and you're bound to get your 50 conversions within 1 day. So, if you're not getting a large volume of daily conversions, it's probably worth optimizing for 7-day clicks. Keep in mind that Facebook recommends letting the 7-day click ad set run for at least 10 days.
