The 19th installment of the "Web Industry Evolution Practical Course" is aimed at web directors who are thinking about their future careers . We will have Shingo Sato, a product manager at Money Forward, Inc., as our guest, and he will be giving a lecture on web direction that can be applied to product management, based on the current situation of working on toC products and services at a business company.

In this interview just before the event, we spoke with Sato about his career path and what's fun about being a product manager.

Profile Introduction

Shingo Sato,
Product Manager, Business Development Department, HOME Division, Money Forward, Inc.

After graduating from university, he worked in web design belgium phone number data and direction at a web production company. He then moved to CyberAgent, Inc. in 2011. He mainly worked as a director and producer in the media business, while gaining experience in scrum development and team building. He was also involved in the launch of new services. In 2017, he moved to Recruit Co., Ltd., where he managed the creative team before taking charge of planning service improvements and directing cross-sectional organizations. In 2020, he joined Money Forward, Inc. , where he is concurrently serving as product manager for services for self-employed individuals and head of the strategy department. He is primarily involved in strategy planning, team building, and people management. He is currently in charge of growing existing services and launching new services in a business development team that focuses on services for individuals.
