"Who can see my phone number?": Set this to "Nobody". This ensures your number is never displayed on your profile.
"Who can find me by my number?": Set this to "Nobody". This prevents others from finding your Telegram profile by searching for your number, even if they have it.
Add Exceptions (Optional): You can specify individual contacts who can see or find you by your number if you wish (e.g., close friends/family).
Set a Unique Username:
Go to Settings > Username.
Create a public username (e.g., @MyAnonymousHandle).
Use this username as your primary contact telegram number database method. Share your username instead of your phone number for people to find and message you.
Disable Contact Sync:
Go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Contacts.
Toggle "Sync Contacts" OFF.
Tap "Delete Synced Contacts" to remove any contact data previously uploaded from your device. This prevents Telegram from associating your account with people in your phone's address book.
Display Name: Use a pseudonym or a generic name. Avoid your real full name.
Profile Photo: Do not use a photo that can identify you. Use a generic image or avatar.
"Last Seen & Online": Set to "Nobody" (Settings > Privacy and Security > Last Seen & Online) to prevent others from tracking your online activity patterns.
"Profile Photos": Set to "Nobody" or "My Contacts" (Settings > Privacy and Security > Profile Photos) to control who sees your picture.
"About" / Bio: Keep this blank or generic. Avoid personal details.
