Toggle "Contact Joined Telegram" OFF.
Why it helps: Reduces unnecessary notifications, especially if you have a large phone book.
5. Use Usernames for New Connections (Avoid Auto-Adding to Contacts)
When connecting with new people, especially those you don't know well, use their username.

How to use: Ask for their @username. Search for it in Telegram's search bar.
Why it helps: Initiating a chat via username does not automatically add them to your Telegram contacts list, nor does it require their phone number. This keeps your official contact list cleaner. You telegram number database can manually add them later if the relationship develops.
6. Utilize Chat Folders for Organization (For Active Chats)
This doesn't simplify the contact list itself, but it significantly simplifies your chat list, making it easier to manage conversations with many contacts.

How to Create:
Go to Settings > Chat Folders.
Tap "Create New Folder".
Give it a name (e.g., "Work," "Family," "Friends").
Add specific chats/contacts to the folder. You can add users, groups, channels, or bots.
Why it helps: Organizes your chat list into manageable tabs, so your primary chat view is less cluttered. You can hide the "All Chats" folder if you only want to see your custom folders.
7. Archive Less Important Chats (Declutter Chat List)
For chats you want to keep but don't need in your main view.
