On October 24, the Moscow Arbitration Court granted the claim of the Perm robotics company Promobot (OOO Promobot) against the eponymous OOO Promobot (Moscow) to protect the right to a company name, according to court documents.

"The claim is fully satisfied," the arbitration case file states.


On September 4, Perm-based argentina whatsapp resource Promobot LLC filed a lawsuit in the Moscow Arbitration Court against the Moscow-based Promobot LLC of the same name to protect the right to its company name.

Promobot Development Director Oleg Kivokurtsev, commenting on the lawsuit, previously told Interfax that the company fears the risk of someone selling third-party goods on behalf of the company, which could damage its business reputation. At the same time, he added that there have been no precedents for selling products with a similar logo and name.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Moscow-based Promobot LLC was established in April 2023, and its main activity is the development of computer software. The owner and director of the company is Olga Belova, a resident of the Moscow Region. She is also the owner of Vintage LLC (Moscow), which manufactures kitchen furniture.

The Promobot company was founded in 2015 in Perm, it produces autonomous service robots (designed to work in crowded places, where they help people with navigation, communicate and answer questions, broadcast promotional materials). The company conducts developments in the field of mechatronics, electronics, facial and speech recognition.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, 21.92% of the authorized capital of Perm-based Promobot LLC belongs to a subsidiary of the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) – IIDF-Invest LLC, 17.24% is owned by the chairman of the company's board of directors, Alexey Yuzhakov, 12.57% of the authorized capital belongs to the Modernization Innovation Development Mutual Fund, and 11.98% to the Far Eastern High Technology Fund UK LLC. The remaining shares are distributed primarily among the company's managers.
