Photo: Kittisak [FreeDigitalPhotos.net]According to the study on the Most In-Demand Professional Profiles in the Field of Digital Content in Spain 2012-2017, prepared by the Information Technology Foundation (FTI), the digital marketing and communication sector could create more than 500,000 jobs by 2017 .
For this reason we have launched a training grant programme of up to 50% for our Master's in Marketing and Digital Content Management , which begins on 3 June, aimed at unemployed journalists being linkedin data able to train in these areas , given the high unemployment rate in the sector , which tripled in 2012 alone, reaching 27,443 unemployed journalists.
According to Luis Lombardero , General Manager of Bureau Veritas University Centre, part of the international Bureau Veritas Group, “ the first objective we set for our Masters is that graduates have clear options to find employment or promotion in their jobs. In this sense, Digital Content presents great opportunities for all Journalism and Communication professionals who are currently looking for work .”
The deadline for applying for scholarships from the various press associations ( Federation of Associations of Journalists of Spain (FAPE), Madrid Press Association (APM) , Association of Communication Professionals (ProCom) ) is open until May 30 .
The only requirements are:
– Be a member of some of them.
– Present the document that proves your unemployment status.
Active associated workers may also apply for scholarships , provided that there are vacant scholarships .
