How are segment profiles developed?

Collecting data about each segment. Building on the previous stage – analysis – deeper data is collected about the behavior and needs of each segment. It is important to understand who these people are, what their interests are, what drives them, what problems they are trying to solve, and how they interact with the product or service.
Defining segment characteristics.

Demographic characteristics: Gender, age, marital status, income level, education.
Geographic data: Location, region, city.
Psychographic characteristics: Interests, values, lifestyle.

Behavioural characteristics: Frequency of purchases, types of products kenya email list or services, ways of interacting with the brand (online/offline).
Goals and Needs: What problems does the customer solve with your products or services? What are their current priorities?
Creating personas (personalized profiles). Each segment gets its own “persona,” which includes all the data described above. These profiles can be visualized as characters with names, professions, interests, and tasks they want to solve.
