Loyalty drops significantly if a person has to wait a long time. Therefore, high loading speed is in your interests.
What indicators are considered good and what are not so good? The guidelines are approximately as follows:
1 second is a super result, however, one can say frankly, almost unrealistic;
2-3 seconds is a standard indicator for most advanced resources;
3-5 seconds is a tolerable time for some portals, but in general this is already a low value;
6-10 seconds is a very long wait, with such a result it will be difficult to move forward;
11 seconds or more is very bad. Take immediate action to increase site speed.
Important! Different web platforms differ greatly in size, type, functionality, location. Depending on this, the above indicators may also differ.
There are niches where 5-6 seconds are considered the norm for opening pages. Take the famous company OZON as an example. To tell the truth, the online store there works quite slowly, but the resource does not lose its popularity because of this, the conversion there is excellent.
You can determine the optimal website marketing list of plumbers loading speed for your specific case using Google Page Speed Insights.
To make this figure equal to 2-4 seconds, you need to score 70-80 points. The following parameters are of primary importance here:
speed of receiving the first byte from the server — time to first byte;
the speed of display of the main elements on the page - load time;
the full weight of the page (that is, its size) - page size;
The number of questions a user must ask the database to generate a page is requests.

The technique of working with Google Page Speed Insights will be described below. Now we will talk about the formation of the main indicators that affect the efficiency of the sites.
6 Main Criteria for Checking Website Loading Speed
Loading speed refers to the time between clicking on a link and the page fully loading…
Perhaps yes, that would be the case if the procedure consisted of two simple steps - request and download.
However, in reality the process is a series of actions:
Checking the website loading speed
Scripts, styles, fonts, images, videos, HTML and other resources appear gradually one after another. Moreover, not everything has to be fully loaded for the visitor to be able to start some actions on the page.
The site loading speed assessment is performed taking into account more than 15 metrics. Below are those that have the greatest impact on user loyalty.
1. Time to First Byte (TTFB)
So, Time To First Byte is the time interval between the time the server receives the request and the time the first byte of information is sent to the user's browser.
This indicator is divided into three parts:
the time it takes to send a request from the visitor's browser to the server;
the time required to process the request and generate a response;
the time it takes for a response to travel back from the server to the user.
Essentially, TTFB is the number of seconds a person waits for a page to load and sees a white screen in front of them.
2. First Content Paint (FCP)
First Contentful Paint is the time interval between the time a visitor sends a request to the server and the moment the first pixel of information appears on the screen of his device.
This is a very important indicator, because if a visitor quickly sees even minimal scraps of content, it becomes clear to him that the process has already started and the site loading speed is normal. A high value of the FCP metric leads to the visitor leaving, deciding that the web resource is not working.
