And actually, I try to choose the task that will make me have a great day. So, for example, today, on this post-it, I recorded episodes of Marchez avec Johan, made a vlog video. I'll talk about it later, but I'm preparing a nice little video concept. And... So, I fixed the shower, because I have a shower problem, and watched the French team match with my family. Those are the four big things I have. Of course, sometimes, I have other little things, other tasks, I don't only do that, but in any case, those are my blocks, my priorities.
Well, I'm going to choose from these blocks the peak of my day, even if all the tasks are important, even if all the tasks are necessary, even if all the tasks are impactful, I try to go by feeling. And if I actually look at these tasks, I say to myself: "Well, the most important probably for Authentic French, for my life in general, here, is the vlog", because I know that if I make a beautiful vlog and the audience appreciates it, well, it will be good for Authentic French. And everything that is good for Authentic French is good for my mission, for my impact and for my life in general. So, that would be the most important probably.
But I don't necessarily want to make it a peak of my day because I say to myself: "When I go to bed, what will " And it will probably be here having watched the match with my family. I can already italy whatsapp number data imagine my son Tom with the French team jersey. Well, by the time you listen to this podcast, the match will have been over for a long time and the result will already be in, but it's the semi-final of the Euro France-Spain, that's what we're going to watch tonight. The idea here is to tell myself, emotionally, it's good, so that's what I'm going to put a little star on to say that it's my peak of the day. I'll do everything else regardless.
So, that's for the definition part of the peak of the day. It's important to ask yourself the question either in the morning before starting the day, or in the evening during the reflection part that we'll see right after.
A little tip that is in the book and that can be interesting is to actually define sprints, say to yourself for example, there for three days, I will have peaks that will be linked. For example, a project. We are preparing a surprise for the Authentic French Academy, it is just for example, I could say: "The peak of my day today will be linked to this project, tomorrow too, the day after tomorrow too", so, a kind of sprint. That is something quite interesting.
As for focusing like a laser, well here, there are a lot of tricks that I tried to perfect and which are key, it's having a smartphone without distractions, with few applications on it, having an empty home page. I haven't implemented that, but they talk about it in the book, it's not bad. A home page that is empty on your smartphone, not watching the news for example, that's good too, doing a weekly news session. Currently, it's a bit complicated because between the Euro football championship and the early legislative elections, there were a lot of things to see. So, I had a hard time, but in any case, I would like to limit my content consumption a little. There are lots of other things: limiting distractions, putting the phone in another room, things that I already do.
ultimately be the most satisfying for me?
